Transforming the way people learn, lead, and live through equine intelligence.
By combining equine-assisted learning, horsemanship, coaching, healing, and community engagement, we provide a distinctive educational model that benefits horses, individuals, groups, families, organizations, and the broader community.
At the Center for Conscious Horsemanship (CCH), our horses are the shaping force in the learning process with humans, and their well-being is the ground on which the work stands.
Because our herd is made up entirely of rescues, this relationship carries a heightened responsibility. Their history requires that trust be earned, pressure reduced, and that the work serve their healing as well as human development.
Our work bridges psychology, education, and conscious horsemanship, offering practical tools for self-awareness, relationship building, and professional growth.
Through conscious interaction, participants learn how the principles of presence, consistency, and trust—the same qualities that sustain a herd—apply to leadership, teamwork, and everyday life.
Our programs support individuals, families, and organizations seeking to grow through experiential education and equine partnership. They are organized around four key pillars of learning:

Our educational programming serves youth, adults, groups, teams, and families. We offer classes, workshops, and retreats that use direct interaction with horses to teach confidence, responsibility, communication, and collaboration.

Understanding your team through the language of the horse can lead to better conflict resolution, increased confidence, deeper trust among teammates, enhanced collaboration, and more effective communication. Often, the experience creates greater clarity of purpose and leader effectiveness.

Personal growth at the Center for Conscious Horsemanship combine equine-assisted learning, coaching, mindfulness, and experiential learning to help individuals strengthen emotional resilience, transform aspects of themselves, and deepen their sense of purpose.

The well-being of our horses is central to everything we do. Our herd, composed entirely of rescues, teaches us daily about trust, patience, and presence — and it is our responsibility to ensure that their healing and comfort remain at the heart of the work.
At the Center, we use a non-dominant model of horsemanship that emphasizes respect, attunement, and mutual trust.
We do not task the horses with delivering outcomes; we enter into relationship and allow their awareness, boundaries, and feedback to guide what becomes possible between us. Because humans learn to meet them with congruence rather than demand, the field becomes safer and clearer for the horses—and beneficial to them.
In this model, our horses are never asked to absorb pressure for human gain; they experience a regulated environment, honest communication, and a way of being with people that protects their ease, clarity, and dignity while inviting humans into a more conscious way of being.
