Volunteer
Support a rescued herd, learn through conscious interaction, and help make equine-assisted education accessible to more people.
Why Volunteers Matter
At the Center for Conscious Horsemanship, volunteers play an important role in supporting both the herd and the humans who come here to learn.
From caring for the land to assisting with programs and events, volunteers help create the safe, organized, and welcoming environment that makes this work possible.
Because our horses are rescues, we take their physical and emotional well-being seriously. Volunteer roles are designed to support their comfort, safety, and daily care—while also giving people meaningful ways to contribute and learn.
Ways to Get Involved

Herd & Barn Support
Help with the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the horses comfortable and the farm running smoothly. Direct handling of horses is limited and based on experience, training, and the horses’ needs. Our first priority is always their safety and comfort.

Program & Event Support
Assist with workshops, family days, and community programs by helping create a welcoming environment. This is a good fit for people who enjoy being around others and supporting a calm, organized space.

Land & Facility Care
Support the larger environment the horses live in. These roles are especially helpful for people who like hands-on, outdoor work.
Who Can Volunteer?
